This is a reproduction of a famous pin-up painting titled Is My Face Red? by the renowned American pin-up and glamour artist Earl Moran. The original artwork dates to approximately 1946 and was widely used in various forms, including calendars, prints, and arcade cards.

About the Artist

Earl Steffa Moran (1893–1984) was one of the most prominent pin-up artists of the 20th century.

He is perhaps most famous for his professional relationship and friendship with a young Norma Jeane Dougherty, who later became the iconic actress Marilyn Monroe. Monroe posed for Moran for four years in the late 1940s, and his works from this period are considered highly valuable today.

Moran's art style was known for its lively, cheerful depiction of women and a masterful use of pastels.

This specific piece is a classic example of his calendar art that was very popular in the mid-20th century.
