Paul George Lawler (20th century)
Lawler was commissioned by PAN AMERICAN AIRWAYS to design a series of travel posters for a variety of destinations serviced by the carrier (Hawaii, Jamaica, Quito, Ecuador, Rio de Janeiro, Guatemala, South East Asia, Europe, Germany, Trans Pacific Flights and others). The outstanding artwork by this artist and the appeal of Pan Am who at the time was the principal and largest international air carrier in the United States have made these posters highly collectable.
