VIRGILIO RETROSI (1892-1975)
A student of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, Retrosi was a painter, designer and ceramicist.
In 1911 he made ‚Äã‚Äãhis debut, at the International Rome for the fiftieth anniversary Unification of Italy and collaborates with the magazine "The House" for which, between 1912 and 1913 publishes articles, drawings and cartoons.
In the mid-thirties abandoned ceramics to devote himself to graphic design.
Virgilio Retrosi died in Rome in 1975.
