Description
Edmond Maurus (1925-1955) Studied at Germain Pilon School, mentored by O. G. Gérin, the founder of the Corporation of Publicity Designers. Maurus created his first successful posters after World War II; was also a versed in classical painting style of landscapes. AIR FRANCE commissioned himbetween 1925 and 1955 to create a series of posters depicting destinations serviced by the airline.
