He was an internationally active French graphic designer , illustrator and painter . He was especially for his poster designs known.
Jacques Nathan-Garamond is as sophisticated artist with a tendency to strict graphic known. After the Second World War, he settled as a graphic designer down and did all kinds of work such as poster designs advertisements, illustrations and design of catalogs. One of his most important works is the poster for an exhibition on human rights from the year 1949. He was for companies and brands such as Mazda , Ducretet-Thomson, Telefunken and others active.
Jacques Nathan-Garamond in 1952 was co-founder of the year the Alliance Graphique Internationale , AGI. In 1964, he became the documenta III (in the graphics department) to Kassel invited. Since 1985 he devoted himself mainly to painting.
